Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of the Fierce Five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. In the 2012 Olympics she was awarded gold on both the team floor as well as the individual events. Bronze was taken through her balance bar. In 2012, she became the very first American athlete to win the most number of medals at the Olympics. At the 2016 Olympics she was awarded gold in the team event which gave her along with teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having been among the few Americans to earn back-to-back team golds. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals for the all-around competition and floor exercise. In the three years between her two Olympic Games the athlete took a break. The gold medal she won for the American team also won two World Championships. She learned gymnastics from the age of 2 and her favorite activity is Floor Exercise. Aly donates to the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity to honor her late grandmother. Aly plans on pursuing an occupation as a designer. The next goal she has is expanding her trademark range of leotards. She's writing a book titled Fierce which will come out later this year.
